The FFI Group, represented by the Techlasts and partner company DCSIwas present for the 5th consecutive year at SIMAC 2024the prestigious footwear fair held in Milan, Italy. This event was an excellent opportunity to present the innovations and solutions that both brands bring to the footwear sector. With 25 years' experience in the market, the FFI Group has established itself as a benchmark in the industry.
We present ourselves as a partner in the FAIST Project (Agile, Intelligent, Sustainable and Technological Factory) Project, which aims to provide the Portuguese footwear industry with innovative and sustainable technologies. This initiative not only reinforces our commitment to modernizing the sector, but also enables companies to respond effectively to today's challenges. An Asian multinational is about to set up shop in Estarreja, with the ambition of producing footwear for major sports brands, with a view to exporting from Portugal. The Fernando Ferro & Irmão group, which specializes in precision metalworking and industrial automation, is negotiating the supply of automatic production lines for this new factory.
