The FAIST - Agile, Intelligent, Sustainable and Technological Factory, was created to respond to the needs of the footwear and leather goods sector, with a focus on preparing this sector for future challenges.
The project focuses on digital technologies and the sustainability of processes and products, with the main objectives being: greater efficiency and profitability, a quick response to the market, improved working conditions and product differentiation. The consortium brings together 45 companies and organizations, including Techlasts and DCSI PROcontributing their know-how acquired over 25 years of experience - with the aim of strengthening the sector through the use of innovative technologies.
