The project FAIST — Agile, Intelligent, Sustainable, and Technological Factory — was created to address the needs of the footwear and leather goods sector, with a focus on preparing this sector for future challenges.
The project focuses on digital technologies and the sustainability of processes and products, with the following main objectives: greater efficiency and profitability, rapid response to market demands, improved working conditions, and product differentiation. The consortium brings together 45 companies and organizations, including Techlasts and DCSI PRO, which contribute their know-how acquired over 25 years of experience—with the goal of strengthening the sector through the use of innovative technologies.
