On June 30, the Portuguese Footwear Technology Center hosted a gathering of footwear manufacturers and footwear equipment representatives at its facilities in S. João da Madeira. The goal of this project, known as FABLAB , is “to promote the creation of a creative community and strengthen the business capabilities of SMEs in the footwear and metalworking sectors in the Northern Region.”
Our CEO, Fernando Ferro, attended this event and shared his experience in developing and integrating new solutions; he discussed the main challenges and obstacles facing the industry; and he addressed the processes involved in implementing automation and robotics.
