On June 30th, the Footwear Technology Center of Portugal brought together a group of companies producing and representing footwear equipment at its premises in S. João da Madeira. The aim of this project, under the name FABLAB is to "promote the creation of a creative community and strengthen the business capacity of SMEs in the footwear and metalworking sectors in the Northern Region".
Our CEO Fernando Ferro was present at the event and shared his journey in developing and integrating new solutions, talked about the main difficulties and obstacles in the sector, and addressed the processes associated with implementing automation and robotics.
