It is with great pride and satisfaction that we announce that Fernando Ferro & Irmão, S.A. has received an Award of Merit for the Productive Innovation Project submitted under Call for Proposals 20/SI/2015 of the Compete 2020 fund.
The Productive Innovation project essentially consists of building a new factory in the Estarreja Eco Business Park, on Rua de Beduído, Lot 11, designed from the ground up and scaled for new manufacturing processes that will enable the company to expand its market reach and scale its production capacity, with the goal of achieving estimated revenue and earnings of €4.2 million in turnover and €2.2 million in Gross Value Added (GVA) in the project’s peak year (2019).
The investment to be made by September 30, 2017, totals €3,971,120, with a repayable grant of €2,364,000 and a non-repayable grant of €4,284 having been awarded.
